At present this club is not running this term.
Eco-club takes place every Friday after school, form 3.30 to 5.00 p.m. for children from KS2. Usually about twelve children attend.
We try to undertake as many practical activities as possible, like planting trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetables; activities in the wildlife garden such as pond-dipping, attracting wildlife; making and putting out bird food etc. In the warmer weather, we usually join Eco-Committee for at least one environmental outing.
We also support Eco-committee’s work, helping with recycling, composting, litter picking, conserving energy and writing letters/making posters to raise awareness of environmental issues.
